Hello - I'm from NPN's Rocky Mountain Nature Photographers... I'll be in Cape Cod and Boston for the first time next week.
Any suggestions for shooting locations, B&Bs, restaurants, etc? I have a pretty open schedule. Would love to get together with other NPNers while I'm out there, if possible, let me know...

Hi Nathaniel, If you are in Boston I'd suggest spending some time on the coast north of the city. Cape Ann, Plum Island, the NH and southern Maine coasts are all gorgeous. Compared to out west everything in New England is compact. The highway drive from north of Boston to Maine is an hour or so outside rush hours. But you could spend half a day or a day exploring one small area too. What are you most interested in shooting?
I would drive the entire 6A route that hugs the bayside. Lots of interesting B & Bs, a couple windmills, you will run into a couple lighthouses in Chatham and Truro. Provincetown is a nice fishing village at the end of the cape and the dunes sometimes provide some nice shots. A seal cruise or a whale watch might be in the cards too. If you are in need of a good restaurant I suggest Villa Roma in Harwich just over the Dennisport line.

Thanks for the tips, guys!
Scott - being from the landlocked mountains I'm most interested in shooting everything that has to do with water and the sea... coastlines, boats, bridges, lighthouses, etc.
