The Cades Cove Loop Road Opening Early

According to this article, this road should open by April 24, about a month early. They plan special events to mark the reopening of the road.

Nothing about the other road closures in the Smokies.

Well that works out for me as it looks like I will be going up mid week after the opening. Hope the dogwoods will wait on me.
