Puffin question

Hi, I hang out on the Mid Atlantic forum and will be in the Lubec Maine area in late May-early June for the birding festival. I am considering taking a boat out of Cutler to Machias Island in hopes of Puffins. Would anyone have any knowledge if this might be too early for good numbers of birds? Thanks for any advice.

Should be just fine. Definitely go with Patterson out of Cutler.
