This was a long forgotten image I took in 1998 when I was living in Deary, Idaho. I found it in a box of old prints and film. The original image was color. Converted to a grainy infrared in Photoshop. This truck was parked in a grassy field just off the road. I believe this was taken with a Canon A2E and a 24mm lens.
The IR treatment is courtesy of NIK Color Efex Pro 2.0. I've added a second version of this image that uses some selective masking and painting with different IR filters (black and white and color IR) and a couple other filters. In total, I think I masked about a dozen different selections (by color range) and painted in different filter effects.
Ryan, I like them both. I think I am partial to the color version. Maybe I have just been spending too much time lately looking for color that when I see, I like it.

I really like both, but if I HAD to pick one, it would be the color version. Very unique and attractive comp and elements.
