Beauty Spot is an Appalachian Mtn Bald in Unicoi County Tennessee, right on the NC state line. The weather was beautiful Saturday so my wife and I took advantage and did a little hiking. There was nothing greening or blooming yet and we even managed to find 6" of snow on the north side of the mountain.
It was a little too early in the afternoon to capture the great light, but I did manage to get this.
This was my first trip out with a new 7D. Still learning the buttons and menus, but I can tell I'm going to love this camera!

Thanks for sharing. It looks and feel cold to me, but beautiful none-the-less!
The 7D rocks! I've had my hands on a few and tinkered. I am pretty sure I'll be picking one up this year as a back-up or second body.
