Hi Tom

Like the formation and the framing and gosh a blue sky

For me the shadow on the top birds neck isn't a problem so would leave it, if your uncomfortable with it then by all means do so.

All the best

Hi Tom

Nice composition, good bird formation and wing positions. The shadow doesn't bother me.

Not so keen on the deep blues caused by the polarizer which looks like it is also causing some kind of 'vignetting' effect on the left and right hand side of the frame. I think I would prefer a more natural blue sky (you can always tweak it in Photoshop afterwards....) However this is a personal taste thing, I like swans against a rich blue sky but for me this is slighty overdone.

Great technique to handhold and frame these four birds so nicely. Overall an excellent flight shot which shows the elegance of these birds in flight. :toast:

cheers

Sean

p.s. is this Slimbridge/Welney/Martin Mere/Caeverlock/a.n.other?

p.p.s. Are these Bewick's Swans? My bird id skills are not the best in the world.....
