Yup, the activety has been slow here for a long time. There are a number of our old friends that moved to the "other" forum, which is pretty slow also. So now instead of having a forum that's a little slow, we've got two that are real slow.

What "other" forum would that be? I have been lurking about here, but I haven't been shooting much the last few months. I thought everyone had dropped off the planet. Is anyone going to Brazos Bend anytime soon? What are our options now that Choke Canyon seems to be dead? Did I hear correctly that the Calliham unit is the only one open now?

Hi Randy,
Choke is nothing but a fishing hole now. The last time that we were there we got in trouble for feeding.... THE BIRDS.
After our last group outing we decided to move the next one to Brazos Bend SP, but that wont be untill November.
Sandy and I were talking about making a trip to Brazos Bend before it gets too hot, not too much longer now. We just got back from Big Bend so we're still in recover mode right now, but it wont be too long before we'll be ready to go again.

Great shot Bill. I've been back and forth between this site and NSN. The Texas forum is slow there but the others are not. I try to visit both to keep in touch with contacts from both sites. I just haven't been able to shoot much recently but with VLF coming up, that should change. I've been getting photo blinds setup but the ranch is in terrible condition. Still, hope to get some good photos.
