My Trip to Antarctic. Photo taken with canon camera at 22mm 1/1250 sec F8 -1-0EV. I would appreciate any comments especially regarding people being in the picture our out.

superb John. The people add scale to the icebergs and are beautifully positioned for the composition. Photo libraries are very keen on shots with people in them. Looks a tad dark on my screen, but this may be my problem and not yours! Is this polarised or not? I love everything about the composition of this photo.
The people add a sense of scale to the shot and give it a touch of colour in an otherwise mono scene. They do look insignificant alongside the large ice burgs. Very well taken.
nice image, yes to me it looks a bit dark but maybe due to polarization. i like the feel of the whole thing. i can imagine a tour company being very interested in such an image.
personally i think i'd have preffered to see one person in the boat to give it that sense of loneliness - i'm sure the others wouldn't have minded swimming back to the ship so you could get the shot - no but seriously it it is a good shot and sure will sell well.

Hi John
Super image, nicely composed with great detail in the whites and like Rob I think the people/boat gives you a sense of scale!

Hi All
thanks for your comments. I used a polariser which was hand held + the camera and taken from a Zodiac boat so I am pleased with my results.

Hi John
This shot would work with or without the people in the boat. With them it is a great man in the enviroment image and shows the scale of the Antarctic. I also like the shot from a 'landscape' point of view, great cloud formations which work well with the shape of the iceberg.
What an amazing place to visit, it looks stunning, I should go sometime before it all melts......
