Buffalo River B/W Detail
I returned to the Buffalo River at Roark Bluff on Sunday morning before heading back to KC to get some more shots to convert to B/W. This is my first attempt (post workshop) at a B/W conversion. This image is another completely submerged scene (darn that water is clear)! Thanks for looking and leaving a comment.

Canon 10D, 75-300 mm @ 110 mm, ISO 200, 1/4 s @ f/16, + 1.0 exp.bias
tripod, cable release, polarizer, b/w conversion using channel mixer

That's underwater? Wow, that's clear! It's a really good B&W study, Wayne - I like the patterns created by the leaves, rocks and branch. Very nice! Thanks for posting!

Wayne,

I'm enjoying your recent B/W work and amazed this one is underwater. Great job!

I would have never known this was under water. I am really enjoying the recent B&W work.

Wayne - It's just too bad that we can't see more detail in the web version. I would imagine the texture in the leaves and rounded gravel shown on a large print would be awesome. Nice! Thanks for posting.
