I will be in the Orlando FL area in mid March and was wondering if anyone could provide in suggestions for great spots not to miss for landscape photography?
Robin, sorry but there's not much in the way of landscape photography in the Orlando area. At least not that I know of. Mostly you will only find nice landscapes along the coastline and in the Everglades.
Thanks for letting me know, Carol. Maybe I will try some city/night photography instead. I will be heading to the Morikami Gardens one day and KSC another, so I will see what I find along the way.

Robin...I beg to differ with Carol..I think amazing landscapes abound in Florida...they are just different from the iconic landscapes. Around Orlando (I mean within 1 hr) there are several really nice spots. Wekiwa Springs, Rock Springs Run, Lower Wikiwa River, Hontoon Island and Blue Springs State Park have gorgeous views of spring runs or rivers, but also other beautiful Florida landscapes such as scrub, prairie, and longleaf pine flatwoods. At his time of year we often have cool nights and warm days making for misty mornings and these are great times to be in the flatwoods or on a spring run. Even right in the middle of Orlando, Lake Eola park offers beautiful Man & Nature type landscapes. If you are going to KSC, then of course you can shoot Cape Canaveral National Seashore and Merritt Island NWR. The Black Point Wildlife Drive offers scenic landscapes and killer wildlife opportunities. Sunrise on the Atlantic Coast is always good, either on the beach or back in the dunes. Don't worry, you'll have lots of fun.
