Beech Trees and Ice
Folks,

Looks like Robin and I got out some. I took this shot on Hwy 441 near Morton overlook last Thursday in the 5 minute window they had the Park open. Nye Simmons and I went up, and I should have a color shot of the same in a couple of days.

Taken with an Ebony 8x10 and a 14" Kodak Commercial Ektar at f:45 on Ilford FP4+ developed in PMK pyro to help hold the highlights.

Cheers, Steve

Beautiful Steve. Glad you were able to visit the park in snow and ice, if even for a short time.

Now that's what I call a "good get" Steve. Most people would walk right past that scene. Good for you for seeing it, recognizing it for what it is, and making the effort to capture it. Well done!

What a nice intimate scene. I think that you also get nods for actually going out. My doesn't count because I took it from my deck out into my back yard. Can't wait to see the color to compare.

Nice scene and image, Steve, but I'm ready for spring! :toast:
