Received a sad email this morning from Joe Levine stating they have raised the white flag, decided to close up their business, and move on with their lives. I would like to whish them and all their employees the best in the future.

As someone doing business with them several years primarily using their Lightjet services, it also means I will need to be regenerating alot of TIF files from my PSD masters. There are of course a considerable number of nationally known photographers as well as many of the rest of us that also used their services and are thus in the same situation.

David, this is sad news, especially for all film shooters in the area. With my local E-6 processor person closing down also recently as a result of health issues and not lacking for business, Calypso had moved high on my list for possible E-6 processing I will need. Of course there are others out there, but I have heard from several folks that Calypso has always provided excellent quality and service too. Sorry to hear this, thanks for the update. :frown:

Thanks for the update....what a nightmare this will prove for many. They were unique in the fact that they also offered endless mounting capabilities along with their prints.
