Hello to all! I am new here and I thought I would start out with an image I got just a few weeks ago at my favorite place call Viera Wetlands. The Viera Wetlands are just north of Melbourne, FL. I was using my Nikon D300 and Nikon 500mm f/4 lens with the Nikon 1.4 TC attached, f/8, 1/640, iso 640. All C&C appreciated .

Great shot! I believe you meant to post this in the Avian GALLERY, and not the Avian FORUM. This forum is more for bird ID or questions about bird photography.

Sweet shot Nancy. I miss the Melbourne area. I was assigned there last year to work and was in Viera quite a bit [never got the chance to go to the Viera Wetlands]. The kayaking in the Brevard area is some of the best in Florida. I got reassigned and had to leave.
If I can get back over there, you better believe I will, particularly when I see shots like yours above. Great shot.
