Folks,
I'm thinking about the Little River Road or Tremont to shoot some ice abstracts; anyone else been shooting ice? Don Dudenbostel here in Knoxville went up Tuesday and got some nice 5x7 negs for platinum printing. Me, I was at work - this work thing keeps getting in the way of my photography.
Cheers, Steve

I agree, work does get in the way. I am thinking about running over for the weekend
I hope to head to the mountains around TN/VA to shoot some streams and waterfalls this weekend. Probably wait until Sunday. 20 degrees is a lot more tolerable when the sun is shining vs. snow falling.

The only thing I have done with ice lately is drive to work on it. Photographong it would be more fun.

I thought about going up today (Saturday) but the GSMNP website still shows almost every road closed.
I went out today to shoot some icy waterfalls and ice macros. It really didn't work out due to not being able to get up the trail more than 1/4 mile. We did get to these icecicles that were probably 15' high!
