Crystal Cascade, Mt Washington
Here are a few pictures from my trip yesterday to Mt. Washington. My son was taking an EMS mountaineering course so figured it would be good to visit and photograph an area I have not revisited since the late 70's.

I spent a lot of time on the Crystal Cascades trail photographing ice abstracts. Let me know what you think. This particular image I did use a cooler temperature as well as TK's Smart glow.

Anyway, not sure this intimate scene of ice in Crystal Cascades works, so let me know what you think. Thanks for looking. C&C welcome and appreciated.

Canon 5D Mark II
Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS at 200mm
ISO50 0.5sec f/16
Singh-Ray Color Combo

WB Daylight
TK's Smart Glow and Web Sharpening

I also want to thank Christine for the loop info.

Hi Eva,

Just got back after holiday visit for a few days...saw your toher post about looking for info. Feel free to shoot me emails while you're there...I know the area well. I would HIGHLY recommend Diana's Baths off West Side Road in North Conway as a must see if you are still there!

This shot is fantastic! Love the texture and the flow and color...simply outstanding!

Thanks Jim. I was only there one day but for sure I will return. It is only a 3 hour drive from my home. My son wants to take another EMS class possibly during February vacation. If so, I will go again but this time make a few days of it.

Mt. Washington from Crawford Notch off Rt302.

Nice shots Eva! Love the second one. I drove down through there Thursday morning and was just wowed with the snow on the peaks and the light on them. (I get wowed every time I go through there!)
