Folks,
Today (12/21) is the winter solstice and the beginning of winter but also the beginning of longer days. I've always sort of thought of it as the real new year's day. And we'd be looking at spring if it weren't for January and February.
But we're on the way to a new year, new pictures, and new times for nature never stands still for long.
Happy Holidays to everyone, and especially to Harold Ross. Get well soon Harold.
Thanks for this. I need to think of Spring after moving almost two feet of snow from my driveway in Virginia. One thing that is nice is the wide variety of birds at the feeders.
Steve, even though we have never met........ the kindred spirit felt in this group far outweighs any picture I have ever taken. Your gracious request proves what a beautiful heart and character you exemplify.
I will introduce myself the third week of April as I will be all over the BRP and Backroads of the Smokes shooting our Lords beautiful creations.
