Great Blue Heron Wins, but... (Bosque Del Apache, NM)

Got this photo in June 2008 at Bosque Del Apache. Was driving next to the road on the southern loop and noticed this Great Blue Heron spear and try to down this huge carp. I watched him stab and try, and stab and try about a dozen times and when I last left him he was still trying to figure out how to break this guy up so he could down him.
