Greetings all,
I thought some of you might like to get involved (if you don't already), in a Christmas Bird Count in your area.
The start date was actually yesterday, but they can carry on right through till the 1st week of January I believe.
I'm doing a total of 8 CBC's this year around Saskatchewan, and not only are they fun, and good exercise, but a good excuse to bring your camera along with you as you never know what you may find.
The Great Gray Owl in my gallery was from last December and had I not traveled north for that particular count, I would never had seen it.

We have that here even in little Thorne bay Alaska. I plan to be involved this Saturday at 5PM. Take care. Bob
We start Saturday too. Camping in the Anza Borrego desert..... Can't wait to get out there. I'm on a mission to photograph Le Conte's Thrasher while I'm at it.
