I know this has been asked "many times, many ways"... but I wasn't going to do a 2010 calendar--until now, as I've had requests. I need to keep them under $20 for my local market, but would like them to be nice, not elaborate... and still, hopefully, make a few dollars. I may do VistaPrint and have checkd out several others, but... feel free to add suggestions. JUST PLEASE REMEMBER, CUSTOMER PRICE UNDER $20... and order day will probably not be 'til Dec. 15th or 16th. Yeah, I don't want much!

I just ordered calendars through lulu.com last night. I'm supposed to get them within a week. I've never used them before so don't know about the quality, which is why I've ordered one just to see how it turns out before I order more. I had an issue uploading my file on Mon. and still haven't received a reply from customer service other than "we'll respond" so not sure about their customer service at this point. I was able to download my order last night with no trouble, however. The template is internet based so nothing to download on your computer and it was easy to use with different "themes" and layouts available. You can get discounts on your order based on volume. The charge for a single standard calendar was around $12. I believe if you order 10 or more before a certain date, they have a coupon for an additional discount. If I can remember, I'll shoot you an email after my order is received to let you know how the final product looks.

Hi Angela, funny you should mention Lulu--that is who I used last year!! The quality on the finished piece I thought was OK, had a couple comments with something to do about the dates, but other than that nothing much to complain about. I used them last year because I didn't have to pre-order and put out $$, as people could just go online and order their own. Not doing that this year, so I'm just looking around to try and find a good one. VistaPrint looks decent and has a sale right now at $7.99 a piece (reg. like $16), but I am trying to find out if that price will be in place as I have to wait to order. Got my biz cards from them and they look pretty nice. Thanks for the info, who knows!!

I've ordered calendars through VistaPrint and the quality is excellent. They always have discounts on, which is great, but you should be aware that fast shipping (7 days) is expensive and will considerably increase the cost of your product. Unfortunately, the only really economical shipping option is 21 days. I'm definitely planning to use VP for my 2011 calendars, but I'll make sure to order them well in advance.

For 2010 calendars, I went with Staples. Although the print quality was not quite as good as VP, I was still very pleased with the images, and Staples had an exceptional turnaround time. Although they only promise 5 - 10 business days, my last order of 15 calendars was printed in 24 hours and, since I could pick them up, there were no shipping charges. It was the only way I could get a product that I could sell for under $20 and still make a decent profit.

hi bill

have used vp for many years for my wildlife calender production and have never had any issues, good service/delivery (even 21 day option), printing/quality very good - no problems and very cost effective

Thanks Lydia and Jeff, it looks like Vista for me... locked in a real good price, so the fast shipping cost won't factor in too much per piece. A lot more profitable than the Lulu ones from last year for sure.
