Someone sent a really funny joke about "The Walking Eagle" award. I immediately thought of this photo.
Taken in 2006 on the S. Fk. of the Koyukuk River. The immature bald eagle? had eaten too much of his share off a moose kill. He was walking because he was full of it and could not fly.
