Canon 50D with Canon EF 300mm f/4.0 L IS USM and a Canon 1.4X.

Hi John! Congrats on getting the shot!! I agree with their suggestions and your repost. Although having a center comp isn't ideal, it is an improvement. :toast:

Wow...what a great experience this must have been! Wonderfully sharp, and the crop knocks the composition out of the park. Just awesome! :toast:

You must have felt very privileged to have been in close proximity to this eagle. Whenever something like this happens, it is always in my memory because I rarely get an image. I either don't have a camera at all or the camera shake ruins the shot.
