I started a Facebook page for Joseph Rossbach Photography a few months ago. I only recently started actively using it and am finding it to be quite a bit of fun.

If you are interested in becoming a fan, then click the link below. I would love to see everyone online and discuss all the great photo ops we have here in the Mid Atlantic and Southeast US.

Hi Joseph,

Awesome looking page!! Though nowhere near the same league, I also post some of my images, and a link to my website, for friends, family, etc. on my FB page. It does generate some interest, even on my much smaller scale.

My question is/are, I've heard horror stories of images being stolen on FB so I assume you post them small, and also, do you have any sales that come right from Facebook?? Just kinda curious, thank you!!

Facebook has been great for me Bill! I don't see a lot of photo sales as a result, but I have had many workshop clients come in from Facebook and quite a few book sales as a result.

What I do to overcome the photo posting problems is to put up a link to my website or blog id I want to showcase an image. It shows the thumbnail and people can then click on it and browse over to my website. This is actually a far better method in my opinion as does two things. First, it generates more hits and sites linking in to my website and secondly it allows people to see more of my services while they are there.

Good luck Bill! :wavey:
