Hi all I am new to the group I live just outside of Syracuse. I am a Nikon shooter with a D200 camera. I enjoy shooting landscapes, flowers, my grandchildren and we like to travel. I am a banker by living but enjoy photography.

Not sure how many members here from upstate NY but would love to hear from you.

Hi! I'm from upstate NH but want to say hi and welcome! Looking forward to your posts! Your foliage should be just past peak?

Hi Anthony and welcome! I'm from Fulton county, a couple of hours east of you. Fall colors are really strong here, in about an hour I'm heading out for Piseco area, and Saturday I'll be taking a course and shooting up at Brant Lake. This is the best time of year for photography here in the Adirondacks, too bad it last only a few weeks. Looking forward to seeing your posts.

Welcome Anthony! I'm from CT on the shoreline. Lived in Marathon, NY during my youth and love the rolling hills. Look forward to seeing the fall foliage scenes. We are still all green here except for the maples that are always the first to turn.

Thanks for the welcomes, the colors here in Central New York are probably near peak. I am going to head north up to Old Forge this weekend and expect to see pea or past peak up there

Hi from the Saratoga area. As of Thursday here, colors are only about 20%. I suspect that colors will be at peak in Old Forge this weekend, which I will be close to . .either camping in the Moose River Plains or kayaking on Blue Mountain Lake. For a beautiful lake, head over toward Eagle Bay and check out Moss Lake.

Thanks Jeff I might just do that Eagle Bay is just up the road
