I'm on the Board of Alaska Conservation Foundation. Annually, we have an awards banquet, The awards include best still photography and best video photography. It's also a pretty good cause for a nature photographer.

Date: Friday evening, October 2, 2009
Time: 7pm doors open; 7:30pm program begins (6pm viewing of Red Gold)
Location: University of Alaska Anchorage, Lucy Cuddy Hall
Price: $30 per ticket; $15 youth seat (please specify if you need a vegetarian entree)
