Baxter State Park 10/5-9 Moose?

Hi,
I will be in the Baxter State Park area 10/5-9. Will the moose still
be active around Sandy Stream Pond or Stump Pound and along the Golden Rd?

Hi John, I don't know about the specific area but moose will be still active at that time. 'Tis the "season". :wink:

Early morning would be best for possible sightings. That time of year is not as productive as June / July but you still have a shot. Sandy Stream is always a good spot but bundle up. The wind coming across the water gets cold that time of year.
