Valdez
Valdez is a great town for images of fishing boats. One of the better day trips for photography is on the smaller boat "LuLu Belle". Great family-owned business and being a smaller vessel, they can get into areas the larger boats can't. On my trip I saw many Humpback Whales, Puffins, Eagles, Dolphins, Otters, Glaciers, Iceburgs, and much more.
Highly recommend. They also have plugins for those using laptops or needing to recharge batteries - plugins both inside the boat and outside on deck!

Been there many times. My son has his sailboat there. I see the snows have started at higher elevations...

Valdez is one of my favorite areas - your son is lucky to have a sailboat there! People are so friendly and the scenery is stunning.
