I had recently been to Spiti valley in the Himalayas, India. I got a lot of images and I wish to make some sales out of it. Would like to know which agency or magazines to approach.
my advice would be: edit the images down to 20 great and totally different ones, be hard on yourself. these 20 images should tell a story (travel, environmental or else) and then approach a magazine acordingly. (the closer to home the better and easier)
nobody wants to look through 488 shots.
best of luck!

I'm no expert but there are lots of options out there for you. Like Georg said approach travel and nature magazines, there are more out there than you would think. Most of the major airlines have their own magazine which will usually have travel articles in them and there are a lot of airlines which fly to India. You may even want to consider writing a rough draft of the article to show them. Sell them as stock images also.
