Sunrise Spots- Tunnel Parking area on Southside, Meadow Spring and Hazel Montain Overlooks. All around mile 33. There is an Old Rag Overlook but don't recall the milepost area. It is one of my favorite sunrise spots.
Sunset- Hike to Hawksbill Summit. Also Naked Creek overlook near Big Meadows. Milepost 53. There are numerous overlooks with stacked ridges near South River that make for good sunset shots too.
