Some bald-faced hornets have taken over several of my neighbor's hummingbird feeders and are keeping the hummers away. Does anyone know of a way to make the hornets leave?

About all we can do here in Alaska is put out bait for the hornets that's more attractive than the feeders. An open jar one-third full of water, a few drops of dish soap and chicken or beef soup base works. You have to clean it out pretty often, and you can't beat hornets by killing individuals. Your local you can get fancier store-bought versions. And you should consult with your local Cooperative Extension office for local tricks.
