PBS will be showing The National Parks: America's Best Idea. Here's a few quotes about the show:

"Filmed over the course of more than six years at some of nature's most spectacular locales — from Acadia to Yosemite, Yellowstone to the Grand Canyon, the Everglades of Florida to the Gates of the Arctic in Alaska "

"The National Parks: America's Best Idea is a six-episode series directed by Ken Burns and written and co-produced by Dayton Duncan."

More information, including a 24 minute preview, is available at

What's more torture is that we do have a t.v. but we only have one channel and it isn't PBS! We never switched over cause we don't really watch t.v. that much anyways! This sucks! I can't even watch my most fave show series on earth (National Geographic)!!! :frown:

I got rid of my TV also but you can still watch PBS shows online at http://www.pbs.org. You may not be able to see it as soon as it first airs but its also nice to be able to watch the shows on your own time.
