This question comes up from time to time, and what I've noticed is that this group has suprrisingly little knowledge about Acadia. I've not been to the park myself, so I'm no help...
I know that there are some great books out there, and probably a flickr group or so...and perhaps someone pops in who has extensive experience, but it's not been the usual case in this forum...
Come back and ask about NH, VT, CT or NY and we got you covered!
I've spent time there for birds. IMO, the best place for warblers and boreal species is over in the southwest portion of the Park near Bass Harbor Light. The easy nature trails called Wonderland and Ship Harbor nature trail have the right habitat for numerous warblers and supposedly even spruce grouse and boreal chickadee. A bog on the opposite side of the road has nesting palm warbler and possibly olive-sided flycatcher.

Sorry in advance...
I'm going to Arcadia the 23rd of June. Any advice from your trip would be appreciated.
If you're ever coming to the Ozarks I can return the favor!
Thanks,
Rod
