Great Gray Owl in Durham
Got to see and take a few pictures of the Great Grey Owl in Durham,
before the paparazzi scared it away!:frown:

Nice shot of this owl John. I've recently became fascinated with images of owl's and can't wait to try and take some myself. Again nice shot.

Nice shot John!! I do find it to be a tad tight for my taste but got to love the light!!! I hope you'll get more opportunities,

Glad you liked my GGO. Heres one more, with no cropping. The owl seemed to always have branches around him, the few times I got to see him.

Nice shots of this little celebrity! I really like the second one you posted, as the light is warmer, the environment clearer, and the branch in front less pronounced.

I have a friend who lives on Dame Road who has been keeping me posted on the media circus! Hope he sticks around! :toast:

John, I much prefer the second shot too! It's got room to breathe. :toast:

PS Thanks for the comments!

I like the second one also. I got used to cropping and shooting tight when taking photos to show my senior citizen groups.
