Good to see everyone today! I thought I'd kick off a thread of photos taken today - here are my contributions. Both of these taken with a 50D/Kirk L-bracket, 100/2.8 USM Macro, Kirk BH-1 on a Bogen 3221.

It was nice to meet everyone today. I had a good time and look forward to doing something like this again. For this shoot I found that one of my cheapest lenses that I almost gave away, actually worked well.
This was definately a fun meetup! The staff was so willing to work with us, and we really had a nice group there for the shoot. Nice to meet/see everyone!
I got a few shots I like, but think this one is my favorite...it was of one of those that wouldn't sit still...and was fortunate to get one shot with the body sharp and the wings fluttering...
I think the best part of the outing was that it is a great macro tune-up for the wildflowers set to bloom in a few weeks!
I love that shot of the big moth in the big leaves. I might look at opening up the midtones with the levels sliders...as I tried on my monitor and I think it really makes a great shot stand out more.
You should definately go put that shot in the main macro gallery and make us proud!
Looks like you had a nice turnout and some interesting butterflies to take pictures of. A round of applause for all the work Jim Deasy put into arranging it! Just wish I could have come.

I had a great time too. Thanks Jim for coordinating and for letting me borrow your 100mm Macro! I'm very happy with the results that I got. One of my favorites from the day attached; more here if anyone is interested: http://picasaweb.google.com/ejalper/309ButterflyPlace#1

Thanks Jim Deasy for arranging the meet. It was very nice to catch up with everyone.
Great pictures. It is actually amazing to see some colors come out in pictures and seemingly absent when you look at the butterflies.
I have been trying to post a photo but to no avail. I downloaded the photo to the directions in the guidelines. I have tried three times at the 1200 long and 720 long <200kb/500kb. I press the post button the screen comes back blank except for the header. No photos or comments from other posters. Am I doing something wrong or is there a time lapse?
Need your help. Thanks.
