I joined NP during the winter and have received numerous tips, direction and suggestions, and look forward to everyones continued support. I live in upstate NY at the southern edge of the Adirondacks, which offers numerous photo ops, as well as a very long winter. I've immersed myself in digital photography for a couple of years now, and find it a great way to get out explore and share the region. Currently, my favorite scenes are waterfalls, calm lakes or ponds that offer reflections and of course the fall colors. Look forward to feedback and sharing the great world of photography.
Here is an image of a recent sunrise taken across a local corn field. I was struck by the outline of the trees, the clouds and sky, as well as the puddle in the FG.
Nikon D40, 1/200, f/13, 55 mm, ISO 200, tripod.

Wow! A really nice image Greg. I live on the Northern edge of the Adirondack Park and do much of my photography there. Perhaps we'll bump into one another one of these days.
Hi Greg! Nice to have you with us! I really like your photo here but wonder if you could sharpen the treeline more as it seems to be the basic subject. The puddle seems to be more in focus.l Beautiful scene though. Keep 'em coming!!
