Does anyone have any experience with this pack?

I don't have the 10X, but I do have the 7X, which is very similar, but slightly smaller. It's what I usually carry around on day trips, or anytime I don't have my tripod with me. I like the strap system and the ease of getting the camera in and out with the pack still on my hip. That's really what they're designed for, so they might not give the easiest access to other gear. Other equipment/lenses I might have in it get stacked on the sides, so you don't have immediate access to everything. Any other particular questions?

I don't have the 10x, but one of the other models. I used the bag for about a year before I got tired of the strap digging into my neck/shoulder. The dividers didn't used to be reinforced so they'd compress easily and not provide as much protection as I'd like. Not sure if the newer models have taken care of this. The concept is great though.

I moved on to Lowepro Slingback which has a thicker strap. However, the strap is angled such that one edge presses into me making it uncomfortable. I'm now looking at the Kata models which have a unique strap system. Some folks are complaining about zippers that don't close all the way though.

I purchased one of the Tamrac Velocity series packs (I think it was the 8X) along with a Lowepro Flipside 200 because I was looking for a smaller pack. I ended up going with the Lowepro and returning the Velocity bag. I was carrying a 20D, 17-40 and 70-200 2.8L and the weight of the Velocity pack was not adequately balanced. I think one of the smaller Velocity packs with a light load might work well, but if you are looking at the 10X I assume you have a little more gear that you are wanting to carry and I think that the Lowepro bag would be a better choice. The Lowepro Flipside has an interesting design that keeps your gear secure and allows easy access. I find it to be very useful.
