I want to buy a ring flash for taking macro pictures with my Nikon D300. Does anyone have suggestions of what to get and where from? Thanks in advance!

The nikon wireless flash unit is great...i use it all the time. here is a link for it at B&H without the commander unit (you can use the system with out the commander and save some money...that is how i did it and then purchased the commander later...it is very nice to have but you can get away without it if you want to save some money)

Ramona - If you really want to have a small portable ring flash, and you happen to have an SB800 flash for your D300, check out Ray Flash.
It's a ring light adapter for your main flash, allowing you to use it as both. It's gotten some pretty good reviews, but is a little pricey (although from what I can tell, you get what you pay for).
