You may recognize my "handle" from some other photography related fora. I've come here to learn and perhaps to share.
I live in Houston, TX and use Nikon equipment primarily - most often using a D2X and a 400mm f2.8 w/wo TCs (14, 17 and 20). My favorite shooting locations are Brazos Bend State Park and the High Island Rookery, capturing images of the resident birds. There are many I have not seen let alone been able fill the viewfinder.
There is a 5 day visit to Bosque del Apache the last week of November in the late stages of planning. I getting hyper!
I do have one question to start off with, however, and that is what is the preferred image size allow for posting here-in. Once I know this I'll be able to post some images without breaking any of the local rules.

Hey Nick, good to see you've become a member. Glad to have you here. The max image size is 720 pixels on the long side. Look forward to seeing some of your work over on the avian board.
