I've been asked to display at several art/craft shows and would like to know where the clear bags for matted prints are available from.

Robert,

I have been researching this as well recently and have found several references for clearbags.com. I think when I get to the point, this is where I will order from. :wavey:

I've been using crystal clear bags from Light Impressions for the last few years and like them very well. The sizes are good. Prints alone fit into them with a bit of room, and if you've mounted a print on foamcore and matted it, they fit snugly. There's an adhesive strip on the back to seal the flap. If you're printing or mounting standard sizes the finished look is nice.

You can find them here: www.lightimpressionsdirect.com/servlet/OnlineShopping and then click on "products" in the toolbar. Then select "storage enclosures" from the directory on the left of the page, then "storage bags."

I've oredered from ClearBags.com 5 or 6 times, and they are great, with a huge assortment of sizes and options on the adhesive strip placement. The ones with the adhesive on the bag instead of the flap is safer for your prints, that way you don't accidentally stick the flap to a print when you remove it.

Thread topic diversion alert:

Rob, every page you've posted on (which also has your signature) pops up a username/password request from your webserver. You may want to investigate this.

Ditto on the username/password issue when I clicked on this thread.

I use clearbags.com and have been VERY happy with them. Also, Fetpak has great prices and selection on shopping bags if you need those for your customers as well.
