Is this film as good as I have heard?? I am going to Alaska this July and shooting grizzlies. I have been told this would be a great choice in case of low light. I usually shoot 50,100 and maybe 200. What can I expect quality wise??

Unfortunately, Provia 400 (and Fuji ISO 400 print film) is why I bought a D40.... I definitely traded down camera-wise, from an F100, but I find digital ISO 400 cleaner than film 400.

Funny, I too will be in Alaska shooting Grizzly in early July. Where will you be? Maybe we can bump into one another? I was thinking of shooting Provia 400 myself for my N80 shots and I will also be bringing a D70.

I will be flying to the bears with Chris Day and her husband ( emerald air) Actually it will be mid July around the 17th
