All, just wanted to let everyone know that a new Field Guide to Indiana Nature Preserves, compiled and sponsored by the Indiana Nature Conservancy and published by Quarry Books (an imprint of Indiana University Press) has just hit the bookshelves in the last few days. If you have any interest in unique or out-of-the-way locations to avoid the crowds and do nature photography in this part of the country, this book will be an excellent addition to your library. Ron Leonetti and I were honored to provide photography for the book, but all proceeds go to the Conservancy so please support them by considering a copy (or maybe two!). The book is available online from IU Press directly, or Amazon or other online booksellers will have it. Those of you in Indiana should be able to find it in the local section of your favorite bookstore.

I was unaware of your photography and enjoyed looking through your website. You have some very nice images in there, and you have a good eye for subtle compositions. I also could relate to you commitment to photographing your local area rather than some far off place. Wishing you the best with the new book!
Joel, thanks for the kind comments! I appreciate them. The website is still a work in progress, but you gotta start somewhere and at least make something available. I hope to have expanded it quite a bit by year's end, so don't be a stranger!
