I got into more of the park today. Some parts are about 40% peak some much less, but I think things are going pretty quickly. We are due for a freeze tonight so that should speed things up a bit more. After tonight pretty normal weather through the next 2 weeks. Days=mid 50's nights mid to high 30's.

Hale Farm is about 25% peak and the beaver pond/ boardwalk about the same. The area around Horseshoe Pond & Sylvan Pond might be more towards the 40% number since the elevation is much higher. Blue Hen is about 30% but there are lots of leaves on the ground for those coming up this weekend.

I am going to Brandy wine Falls tomorrow as well as Bridalveil Falls & the Tinkers Creek area.

For those coming up this weekend I think the fog in the valley shots in the early Am might be 50%-50%. Its pretty dry air in here now so fog is at a premium. However there might be some frost around that makes things nice. It should be pretty clear with more clouds on Sunday. But it's always nice in the park this time of year!

Check back tomorrow!
