Hmmm.... sorry about that, Rockbridge Nature Preserve is just west of Logan Ohio near Hocking Hills State Park. It is off rte 33 on county road 503. It is a half mile walk to see the site. For the most part it is level walking but the last bit is pretty vertical.

I would have guessed somewhere near Hocking Hills. It just has that look.

Arrggh!!! You just added another place to get to for my Fall Ohio vacation. I have 12 days and my list is now 13 locations long!

Thanks for posting (I think  )

I went there this spring.

The trail is a little tricky, so see if you can find a trail map ahead of time. When we got there, the trail maps were all gone. I knew from looking it up online that it was a loop. So we went in and started walking the trail. The first split we hit, we took a left. That lead us to the rock bridge. When we were done, we decided instead of going back the way we came, we'd walk the rest of the loop. We followed the trail onward, and ended up running into a river. It looked like a less beaten trail headed along the river, but I realized that was the wrong way, and would never loop us around to where we came in. So we turned back. We didn't even see the other part of the loop come in...we went right past it the first time. As we headed along the loop, we came to another fork in the trail, and it was unlabeled. I made a guess to go right (logicly, it made sense) and that was correct.

So just a warning the the trail is a little tricky. I'm just glad we ran into that river. Otherwise, I'm not really sure how far we would have gone in the wrong direction. Also, that other fork that I guessed on...not sure where that would have taken us.

"For the most part it is level walking but the last bit is pretty vertical."

Odd, I seem to recall it being quite a bit of ups and down all the way (except for the initial walk through the field).
