I am a returning member living in Central, Illinois. I was in Tennessee last weekend at took this image at Frozen Head State Park. I just love the sound of waterfalls.
Taken with a Nikon D70 - Nikon 80-400 VR - and a tripod.

Welcome back! Cool image. You might have a little motion blur on the leaves (or it's too early in the morning for me..) It seems to have a bit of a yellow cast too.

Welcome Dave,
I kinda like the look and tone, stands out from most waterfall shots. Painterly. Good one.

Alice,
Would you say the motion blur is on the background leaves or just the front ones. The front ones are probably out of focus a little too. Just curious what you thought of the background leaves.
Jim,
I tend to warm my images a little. That may be good or bad. Don't know. I don't know why I swing that way, but I do.
I like the falls and hemlock but the OOF foreground leaves and warm tone doesnt work for me. It looks like there is a whole lot more to discover in that scene with the falling water and draped hemlocks. Looks like a great place.

I am glad you both enjoy the shot.
