Mid morning shot at Lake James taken Sunday 9/03/06. Rainfall had widened the lake level a bit but the depth of this cove was low enough that hip waders allowed me to go about 25 feet off shore.
Canon 300D,18-55mm,circ.polarizer,ND8x,5 sec @ F18. The long exposure deepened the colors a bit but hopefully it is a good sign for this year's color.

If Fall was year-round, I'd probably died and gone to heaven. This is nice.

Boy those hip waders of yours are paying off recently :), I really like the white bark & its paintlike reflection, this is definitely a taste of what's to come, and a fine image!.

The light-colored tree trunks and reflections make this one for me!
