CNPA-Asheville takes an annual field trip to Perry's Water Garden every July. Perry's is located just outside of Franklin, NC. With about 13 acres of ponds, dozens of water lilies and lotus varieties, it is a great photo opportunity. Who knew, lotus in the mountains.

This is a 12-24 close-up shot. I am shooting more and more close-ups with the 12-24.

This week I will post some images from this season at Perry's.

Les,

The image would be great with the flower alone, but the two buds in the URC make this really special. Wonderful colors as well.
