River Otter and Mt Baker

I spotted this river otter fishing at a beach near Victoria. The tide was on its way in, and some rock formations were now tiny islands in about five feet of water. I waded in, and slowly approached the otter. Each time it dove in for fish, I would move toward its island. Finally, with a full belly, it decided to enjoy the sunshine, and do some posing. Mt Baker in the distance made for a great backdrop!
