This is a close up macro photograph of a Small White or Small White Cabbage butterfly as it rests on a flower drinking the nectar within. We can see in high detail the front of the head of the butterfly as it drinks from this purple flower. The bright white body gives an amazing contrast with the dark green background and purple blower allowing us to appreciate the tru shape of the butterfly.
