This is a really calming image of the centre of London, England in the evening. We have a close up shot of the city at night with the famous buildings and sky scrapers taken from the side of the river Thames. In the image is the Natwest Tower now known as number 42 and the Gherkin or 30 St Mary Axe along with London Bridge and the River Thames coated in a red glow from the night sky. This warming colour along with the softness of the water alows us to see the beauty to be found in these urban night scenes.
