Sunset after an afternoon of thunderstorms. Back River, Boothbay, Maine. Back River is a tidal river a little less than 5 miles from the ocean. Tidal changes are about 10 feet. This is close to high tide. July and August evenings usually have some nice fog rolling in off the ocean. Great for photography.... not so good for boating.... Water temperature ~50F.
