North American Robin

This shot was taken near my home in the Adirondacks. This Robin pair (only one is shown here) began nesting very late in the season as other Robins already have fledglings. The day they started their nest, it was windy and rainy and all the sticks, grass, mud, ect. they brought up to the perch was blown off, but they still managed to finish it somehow.
